A decision to issue passes during public celebrations and entertainment programmes in panchayat limits was taken during a video conference with officials.

The officials authorized to issue passes should obtain details of invitees and ensure that coronavirus protocol is followed. They should impose a penalty if any violations are reported. Action against the officials will be taken if the officials fail to book the violators.

Is it applies for political gatherings also ?// please? Dear Dr. please stop the city busses now immediately. Or make them to be limited seat passengers/travel. No point in stopping, catching & beating or stopping a single pedestrian , single person on vehicle. Please penalize the moving crowded groups. Also please have vigilance in supermarkets/malls please.

What about Engineering college students .Nobody is speaking about engineering college students. Engineering classes have started offline during this second wave pandemic from 19th of April .More than thousands students r travelling to attend classes. The strength of students in each college is above 1000.I think government should act quickly and start online mode of classes in all engineering colleges under VTU .
