Udupi: Public oppose MLA Raghupati Bhat's statement to withdraw ban on religious programmes

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (MS/HB)

Udupi, Apr 19: Citizens of the district has vehemently opposed the statement of MLA Raghupati Bhat who urged the state government to withdraw the ban on religious programmes.

Renowned psychiatrist of Udupi Dr P V Bhandary said, "The stand taken by MLA Raghupati Bhat on banning religious programmes by the government in the wake of coronavirus is not right. If the religious programme, political events and wedding ceremonies continue in the same manner coronavirus pandemic will rise for sure. At that time, if medical facilities are not available, people are definitely going to die. During such a situation, it is duty of the MLA to provide more beds in hospitals, more space in mortuary and crematorium. I oppose this statement of the MLA. Mostly, elderly people with heart ailments, diabetes and BP issues attend such functions. Their condition worsens. So it is better if Bhat stops giving such statements. His stand with regards to the night curfew is correct. I expect scientist approach and positive leadership from the MLA at this juncture."

When residents of Manipal buffer zone were subjected to Covid test, 40 patients tested positive. In addition, two students of Kemmannu school have tested positive. As many as 13 positive cases were detected in people who were travelling to outstation states and countries on Sunday.

According to the data available for the period of April 1, 2021 to April 16, 2021 of Covid testing and positive cases, 2873 people were tested in the age group of 0-14, out of which 111 tested positive, and in the age group of 15-24, 12,632 people were checked out of which 363 people tested positive. In the age group of 25-49, 12,377 people were tested and 498 tested positive, while in the age group of 50 years and above 10,492 people were tested and 383 people tested positive.

From March 1 to April 13, 5.43% positive cases are reported in the age group of 0-14, 50.40% positive cases reported in the age group of 15-24, 24.89% in the age group of 25-49 and 19.28% in the age group of 50 years and above.

According to the Covid report of Udupi, positive cases are detected among the group of people who work together in an organization. As per the report, in the month of March, students were having more positive cases, while the onus is shifted to senior citizens in the month of April. So it is better for senior citizens to take vaccination. This will increase the immunity according to experts. Public has to protect themselves from the virus. Even slight amount of negligence may prove fatal.

What about the congregation during Kumbha Mela and continuous election rallies and gatherings. FYI, Fridays and Sundays people observe online or virtual religious programmes from homes.

Our politicians are supporting religious gatherings and celebrations even during the pandemic knowing fully well it’s disastrous consequences ONLY for the sake of vote bank and nothing else. They just want to keep the majority of illiterate voters happy by catering to their blind faith and religious sentiments keeping in mind their blind support for the ruling party.

Its is a popular call to cancel ban only on religious programmes by all BJP ministers. Needless to say these communal ministers want to play on people’s sentiments and cash in on votes. Thats all matters to them. There is no sense in keeping only religious programmes open while banning all other social and public functions. Virus doesn’t care and distinguish as long as it finds a host as close as possible to thrive. Stupid, greedy, blood sucker ministers.

One needs see this through spiritual eyes and not with fear, fear is the tool of satan. This communist chinese and global elites virus is specially to close religious institutions, and to bring their one world communist government, state control. As per recent government circular all other celebrations 25 to 200 people, but religious celebration / congregations not even 10!. Malls / Colleges fine no issue. Book of Revelation Ch 6:7,8 says quater of the earth population got killed due to war, famine, pestilence and wild animals. Remove God, communist satan kills ( Satan is worried about population, brings virus or wars for depopulation). If God is there satan cannot kill, so people pray more and more or double your prayers and get saved from this evil corona. Communist Satan is trying remove God and so to go on his killing spree or depopulation drive with virus till 2028, (Covid 21,23 the SPARS Pandemic 2025 to 2028) for their depopulated to 500 million elite controlled new world order that people / leaders have failed to foresee. Using same principle that Nazis did to control media first to trying get control over the whole world. homes are become new concentration camps. Soon Bill Gates' will spray reflective chemicals (may be viruses included ?) high in the sky in the name of dimming the Sun to cool and reduce global warning , he seems planning this new project also He had prophecied this virus in 2015 and return on investment 20:1 on vaccine business in his Ted Talks. Give few million dollors in philantropy and commission to world health officials and rake billions in vaccine, computers, online and e business? same time reduce population?

What are the compulsion, behind MLA R. Bhat, who desires to lift the ban on the present religious programs, in DK district ?? Is he not aware that there are more then 2100 positive cases of worshippers, who have been infected with Covid19 virus, during Kumb, in Uttarkhand state ??? Is he aware of the total Lockdown in Delhi ?? Mumbai is also reeling under the worst second phase of this pandemic. we are under tremendous stress, fear, as we feel a sense of hopelessness in this financial capital of India !!!!

All gatherings, specially, political rallies to be banned. Secondly, unlike marriages and birthday party, it is difficult for the organiser to restrict/control people 's participation in the religious gathering and to follow the COVID norms. People sentiments are understandable but you can have it at later date, if you survive/come out of this situation. Stay home and stay safe..

All they did was thali, taali, diya jalaying, mud slinging, election rallies, endorsing coronil and bhabiji's pappad, buying MLAs etc. Ex CM was hoarding medicines worth 4.5 crores when the state was short of it. These so called public servants are just not bothered about you and me. Even if they are infected, they get the best of the treatment at the tax payers' expense, so they are least worried. The people should see through his nefarious designs. He just wants votes in the name of religion. I would advise all the people in Udupi to select a better person as their MLA. This fellow is unfit for that chair.
