Kasargod, Apr 19: In an accident that occurred on the night of Sunday April 18 at Hosangadi Pete of Manjeshwar between a bike and Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus, the bike rider was killed on the spot.

The deceased is Shashidhar (26), resident of Paivalike Beedubail. The bus was plying from Mangaluru to Kasargod. The bike was proceeding from Talapady to Kasargod.

It is suspected that the bus might have hit the bike while trying to overtake another vehicle.
