Udupi, Apr 19: The 71st outlet of ‘Al-Baik’, a well-known fast food restaurant chain in Arab countries, was inaugurated in Manipal.
Mohammed Moula, general secretary, Muslim Okkuta Udupi, inaugurated the new outlet. Speaking on the occasion, he said, "I congratulate Saleem for starting Al-Baik franchise in Manipal. This place is known for education, hospital and hospitality. Al-Baik is a crown for the food industry of Manipal. Let the new outlet be a successful venture.”
MA Gafoor, KPCC secretary and chief guest of the inaugural function, addressing the gathering said, "Today in Manipal, an international brand franchise has begun its operations. Manipal is a great area for food business. Let this business contribute for the development of the region. This will be a good spot for international students of Manipal. I thank Saleem Sagar for bringing the franchise of Al-Baik to Manipal.”
Speaking about Al-Baik, Syed Sahil, founder Al- Baik said, "Currently, we have 22 outlets in Karnataka. This is the 71st outlet of our franchise worldwide. Very soon, we will be opening franchises in Mangaluru, Bhatkal, Surathkal, Shivamogga and Sullia.”
