Ullal station police summoned the family members and her parents for questioning after suspicions arose about the cause of her death. However, during inquiry it was found that her room's door was locked from the inside and she was found dead when door was broken open.

However, sources said that Meghashree was unhappy about her dark complexion. There are suspicions that she may have died by suicide because of her disappointment in this regard.

A case in this connection has been registered in Ullal police station.

Some times dark colored are more complexioned but in the society it's mostly a practice to see with difference and pass comments. so young to die. Rest in peace.

comparison always leads to unhappiness & depression! Teenagers always worry about their looks & color and it's quite natural. But thinking of same thing again & again all time, leads to depression!!! If people start committing suicide because of their dark complexion then by now 90 percent of Africans would have committed suicide!!! Teenagers need guidance & empathy. Schools should take initiative to help young minds to deal with teenage emotions..

Why disappointed for complexion? It is God who painted our body He likes and his wish. Black girls character always good.they don't fall into sin easily. Many black women brought laurels to the country. Example P.T. USHA.

@Joshua. Bkack girls??! Use words carefully. "Proud hardworking Indian women irrespective of complexion" would be a better choice. And besides the Black women from their native countries are really beautiful with fine dark skinned complexions.
