Mangaluru, Apr 10: Police have arrested a man on Friday April 9, on the accusation of repeatedly raping his own daughter, who was a minor five years ago.

In a complaint filed in the women police station, it is alleged that the accused raped his own daughter in 2015-16, who was studying in fifth standard five years ago, repeatedly when other members of the house were not present at home. This has caused extreme mental and physical trauma to the victim. The victim is a studying in 10th standard now.

Police informed that the victim is suffering from physical and mental trauma due to the repeated sexual harassment by her father five years ago. As the victim was not having knowledge, the matter came to light quite late. The accused used to sexually harass here even after the said period. The victim could not tell the same and was mentally upset.

The police have not disclosed the village of the accused.
