Mangaluru: Fisherman goes missing while carrying out fishing activity

Mangaluru, Apr 9: A 39-year-old fisherman, who went fishing in a traditional fishing boat from Tannirbhavi, went missing on Thursday April 8.

The missing fisherman is identified as Dawood Siddique of Tannirbhavi. It is said that Dawood ventured into fishing at 11.30 am from the Panambur sea coast.

The incident was reported while he was carrying out fishing activities, 14 nautical away from the coast.

There were six people in the boat. He was involved in fishing for the past 15 years. Dawood was also a member of a swimming expert team in Tannirbhavi.
