Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 7: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 112 fresh coronavirus cases on Wednesday raising the tally to 36,255. Out of these, 718 cases are currently active.

A total of 6,49,800 samples have been tested. Out of which 6,13,545 are negative.

As many as 73 people were discharged on Wednesday, A total of 742 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 43,493 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 45,24,130 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 25,720, including 89 fresh cases on Wednesday. Out of these, 428 cases are currently active.

Over 4,34,321 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 59 patients were discharged on Wednesday. A total of 192 deaths have occurred so far.
