Bengaluru: ‘Yediyurappa is not proprietor of BJP’, says C T Ravi

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Apr 6: Former minister and national general secretary of the BJP, C T Ravi, said that Yediyurappa family will not get hereditary ownership of the BJP.

"Yediyurappa does not own the BJP. He is a leader of our party. As far as the BJP is concerned, its workers are the party owners," he commented. Ravi said that all other parties follow the thumb rule of hereditary family ownership but the BJP has not allowed this principle to get deep-rooted.

"All decisions are taken by the parliamentary board. Modi, Amit Shah, Yediyurappa etc are leaders of our party, but our workers are our owners. If the children of some leaders have to get positions of eminence in the party, the parliamentary board has to take that decision," he said.
