Sounds like a planned job. Hope this was not a set up. Why would the church leave so much cash in office? The church committee should investigate. It’s peoples money. Lot of people contributed to Bendore hall. The hall was built in the place of a school.

Antony Padil I fully agree with you.I am sure it is someone insider who knows what and where Priests moves and daily programm.Otherwise Priest left the room at 6.30am or a minute before. At this time mostly the professional thieves end their duty.so think it must be someone who came to church in name of mass saw the chance.or was waiting .It can be possible we forget sometimes when in hurry and with age.So must have been by priest. Was any cctv camera?around?I dont think thief wont be long enjoy it.Gods eyes are everywhere .When htis money is hard earned and meant for good cause let St Sebestian will certainly bring back-It was so till now.One day he will come back and let it back to priest. One cant do more now but pray.

"Government should offer some job for Gulf returnees at construction site or cleaning department" Melwyn, Belman Why is your heart is burning with jealousy on gulf returnees. when you wish bad things for others, please remember that you too may suffer in life as a consequence of your ill feelings towards others. How much have achieved so far being in the country and how much you have saved your fly for their future ? In my opinion people who worked in the Gulf are cautious enough to make best use of their earnings by way of supporting their fly members and even friends and also savings for the future. When time comes any one should be prepared to do any job if the situation demands other stealing thats what happening all over the country.

Our governments are incapable of achieving their promised political promises. Why do you want to include religious responsibility to the government. Where will Poojaries, Priests and Mukhris will go? I think, Temples should also be free of Govt control, but they must all abide by the Country's laws. I am proud to say that Catholic order has worked hard towards Medical Centres, Education, charities etc in India's deep rooted areas. Please think about it again. Dont go for selfish motive.

Yes it's a multimillion dollar business. Yes it's ok if they lose a little... But, the money does not belong to the priest, it is the donation of the People, parishioners- their hard earned money, whether it is 10 rupees or 10,000. It is a loss to some of the people. Thus it is a crime. Taking away something that you've worked hard for, is like taking away part of your life. The thing may not be important, the hard work and dreams behind it... that's priceless.

What difference it would do if home minister is ABC or XYZ..point to be noted here is both of them would be from same party who has hatred towards minorities..none would bother to find the culprits...rather they might ignore these types robbery incidents..if the similar incident happened in place of worship of majorities, the CM would have been pushing police department for fast recovery... I remember once Veteran leader Atal bihari Vajpayee stated...the law makers who are chosen by the people should follow RAJADHARMA. Sad reality is law makers are following only DHARMA now a days...
