Mr. Bangera, how did you conclude that I am not interested anything beyond 2000 years? I closely follow reports on archaeological findings across the world (which are made by qualified archaeologists) because that gives me information about the evolution of human civilisations. By talking about 2000 years, you are perhaps referring to the birth of Christianity. But please remember that though I am a Christian, I respect all religions equally, because I have grown up in the company of people of all religions. I don’t know if you have the guts to question the beliefs of the religion you are following, but I question the religious beliefs of all religions (including mine) if I am not convinced with the existing explanation, and many times I have obtained answers. The problem in India is that people of all religions interpret the scriptures of their respective religions by their literal meanings, without bothering to understand them in the context of the time when they were written. Moreover, I am of the belief that just as the food we eat needs different spices to make it tasty, a healthy society needs people of all religions and ethnicities to make it complete. My family, religion, teachers and friends never taught me to judge, belittle or discriminate persons by their religion or beliefs. Unfortunately, in India, we go by the divisive ideologies of our politicians and create divisions among ourselves. Coming to the “archaeologist” in question, this man could be craving for some recognition or some top post in some university. Being associated with research students/scholars for 20 years, I know too well the truth of research findings. It is the job of the media and concerned departments to investigate the truth behind his “discoveries”.

This self-styled "archaeology" has been making several ground breaking discoveries of ancient Indian artefacts. When he has made so many discoveries, why the ASI has not shown interest in going deeper? Moreover, how can a professor at the Department of Ancient History and Archaeology of a college can call himself an archaeologist? It looks these "discoveries" are made with some ulterior motive.

Obviously anything that is related to more than two thousand years will be of no interest to you.
