Apr 2: Dakshina Kannada reports 105 fresh corona cases, Udupi records 95

Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 2: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 105 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 35,832. Out of these, 604 cases are currently active.

A total of 6,35,699 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,99,867 are negative.

As many as 65 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 742 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 41,533 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 43,27,230 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 25,389, including 95 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 443 cases are currently active.

Over 4,23,225 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 162 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 192 deaths have occurred so far.
