Mangaluru, Apr 2: Days after minister K S Eshwarappa wrote a letter to the governor against chief minister BS Yediyurappa for ‘interfering’ in the affairs of his Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (RDPR) department, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the issue will be resolved within two days.
Answering queries of media persons here at a private hotel Friday April 2, Nalin said, "The matter will be discussed with Eshwarappa and it will be resolved in two days. I will resolve all sought of differences in opinion by meeting the concerned personally."
Taking a dig at Siddaramaiah, Nalin said that he should know that this is not an insult up to the level of what Rahul Gandhi did to Manmohan Singh in which the former tore the ordinance copy in 2013.
Nalin also said that BJP will win all three constituencies of Belgaum, Maski, and Basavakalyan in the forthcoming bye-elections.
He also said that indifference in Congress has hit the streets.
On a question regarding MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal's statements against the CM, Nalin said, “Eshwarappa wrote the letter as a minister, but Yatnal is an MLA. Notice has been served to him seeking clarification. He will answer the notice."
Answer a question on the sleaze CD issue, Nalin said, “The matter is under investigation and is in the court. Hence I do not want to comment on anyone. The investigation report by the officials will reveal the truth."
