Udupi: Grand finale of Udyavar ICYM’s ‘Crastro’s Bhangrali Kogul’ on April 4

Udupi, Apr 2: The 50th grand event of ICYM Udyavar golden jubilee celebrations ‘Crastro’s Bhangrali Kogul’ is all set to be held on Easter Sunday April 4. The 50th event of the year-long golden jubilee celebrations with the grand finale of the  singing competition is set to be a joyous event.

As many as finalists will be performing their best for the title. Seema Joslin D’Souza Allipade, Mishal D’Souza Perampalli, Diyal D’Souza Bondel, Silviniya Fernandes Udyavar, Marvel Christan D’Souza Udupi, Reshma Moras Allipade, Asmitha Crasta Kalmady, Reenal Lewis Brahmavar, Melvita Marina D’Souza Perampalli, Carol Sequeira Valencia, Olita Pinto Gurupura, and Royson D’Souza Kolalagiri will compete in the finals.

Renowned musicians of the industry Fr Valerian Mendonca, Prajoth D'Sa, Dolwin Kolalgiri and Joshal D’Souza will be the judges at the finale. Ace compeer Alwyn Danthy Pernal will host the event. Band Silver Tones will accompany with the beats.

First, second and third place winners will be awarded with Rs 10,001 and trophy, Rs 7,007 and trophy, Rs 5,005 and trophy respectively.

The event will also honour four achievers for their tremendous service to the society. Sr Maria Shruthi, AC, principal, St Agnes Special School Mangaluru, Thanushree Pithrody, the six-time record setter in Yoga, Robert Castelino, and Ajith Karkera Pithroday, Kannada Kogile fame, will be honored.

The event will be held in ICYM Golden Jubilee Committee stage in the church premises. Many movie stars and celebrities will also be part of the programme.

The concluding ceremony of the golden jubilee year will be held on April 24 and 25 with a thanksgiving Eucharistic Mass, felicitation and many more.
