Mangaluru: Two found selling drugs held from near bar

Mangaluru, Apr 2: Two men from Uppala, who were found selling the banned drug, MDMA powder, near a bar at Talapady Tahani, were arrested in a joint operation on Thursday March 2, conducted by a team led by assistant police commissioner of city south, Ranjit Bandaru, and the Ullal police.

The arrested drug dealers have been identified as Fazal P M (27) from Uppala Pachilamar, and Mohammed Naufal from Uppala Majal. When they were trying to sell the drug near the tachani Bar at Talapady, the police raided the spot and seized drug powder, a motorbike and a car from their possession.

Under the direction of police commissioner, Shashi Kumar, as well as deputy commissioners of police, Hariram Shankar and Vinay Gaonkar, police personnel conducted this raid under the leadership of the assistant police commissioner.
