Apr 1: 53 new corona cases in Udupi; Dakshina Kannada reports 30

Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 1: As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, 30 new cases were reported on Thursday. A total of 6,33,114 samples have been tested so far, out of which 5,97,738 have turned out to be negative.

The total number of positive cases in the district stands at 35,727, out of which 564 are currently active.

As many as 36 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday, The total number of deaths due to coronavirus in the district stands at 742.

Over 40,903 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 42,64,230 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, as many as 4,21,478 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 53 new cases were reported on Thursday, 510 cases are currently active. A total of 210 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday, A total of 192 deaths have taken till now.
