Mangaluru, Mar 31: An order revising toll charges relating to different highways passing through the coastal region has been issued.
The new rates will be applicable from Thursday April 1 onwards.
The revised orders are applicable for the Talapady, Hejamady, and Sastan toll gates managed by Navayuga. Officials said that revised rates for Brahmarakootlu and NITK toll gates would be published on April 1.
Revision of toll is an annual exercise, the officials stated.
Hejamady
One-way for light vehicles has been raised to Rs 40 from Rs 35. Two-way charges are Rs 60 in place of Rs 50. Monthly pass Rs 1,280 from earlier Rs 1,145.
For light commercial vehicles, goods vehicles, mini buses: One way Rs 60 from Rs 55. Two-way Rs 95 from Rs 85. Monthly pass Rs 2,065 from Rs 1,850.
Trucks, buses: One way Rs 130 from earlier Rs 115. Two way Rs 195 from Rs 175. Monthly pass Rs 4,325 from Rs 3,880. For locals, monthly pass Rs 285 in places of earlier Rs 255.
Talapady
Light vehicles: One way Rs 40 (no change). Two-way Rs 65 from earlier Rs 60. Monthly pass Rs 1,400.
Sastan
Light vehicles: One way Rs 45, two-way Rs 70. Monthly pass Rs 1,555 from Rs 1,505.
Light commercial: Mini bus one way Rs 75, two-way Rs 115 from Rs 110. Monthly pass Rs 2,510 in place of Rs 2,430.
Trucks buses: One way Rs 160 from Rs 155, two-way Rs 235 from 230. Monthly pass Rs 5,200 from Rs 5,095. Monthly passes for locals Rs 285 from Rs 275.
