Byndoor, Mar 31: A resident of Kundapur, who got paralysed while working in Riyadh, was brought back by Bhatkal, Mangaluru, Namma Kundapra Kannada and Kannadiga organizations safely to native place.
Chandrashekhar Panduranga Sarang was working in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia for 30 years. He got paralysed three months ago and was helpless. Due to coronavirus and the issue of laws of gulf countries, his family members and friends could not contact him in the hospital.
Teams from Bhatkal and Mangaluru took up this matter with various organizations in Saudi Arabia and brought Chandrashekhar back to Mangaluru International Airport safety on March 24.
Sarang underwent medical examination at AJ hospital of Mangaluru and was brought to his residence by an ambulance provided by Shiroor association. Overseas organizations of Kundapura, Bhatkal and Mangaluru have responded to the needy Chandrashekhar and have displayed exemplary humanity and communal harmony.
