Bantwal, Mar 30: Six persons suffered grievous injuries after an LPG tanker and an EECO car got involved in a collision near Melkar, Panemangalore here on Tuesday March 30 morning.
The injured are Raghunath, Shekhar Aikala, Mudhara, Rajesh, Sandeep and Gopal.
It is learnt that the occupants of the EECO car, who were injured, were returning in the morning to Kinnigoli Aikala near Mulky, after offering the service of playing the drums for the Koragajja Daiva Nartana Seva organized at Sullia Nintikal.
When the car neared Panemangalore, a gas tanker which came from the opposite direction hit the car hard head on. The car was badly mangled due to the impact. All the six who were in the car sustained serious injuries.
