Kundapur, Mar 30: After the driver of a car lost control over the vehicle on national highway 66 at Hemmady near here, a woman who was travelling by the car lost her life while four children suffered minor injuries. The accident happened on the evening of Monday March 29.
The victim of the accident was Suhana (30), wife of Sibgatulla from Kemmannu Hoode.
Sibgatulla, who was driving the car, and children Sahim, Sidra, Manha and Mariam, who were in the car, escaped with minor injuries.
The accident happened when the family was returning from Bhatkal to their home at Hoode. As the car overturned, Suhana suffered serious injuries which accounted for her instant death, it is learnt.
A case about the accident was registered at the traffic police station here.
