Mangaluru, Mar 26: The police have succeeded in taking into custody two persons who have been accused of behaving indecently with a woman and escaping after robbing her of money. The arrests were made on Wednesday March 24.
The arrested accused have been identified as Ajai Kumar and Subodh Kuymar from Araria district Bihar.
The complainant happens to be a lady from Hosamane, Sankadadi, Jokatte.
On March 23, she was returning home after work at 7.30 pm when two strangers gripped her tightly, behaved indecently, and robbed a purse belonging to her with Rs 1,000 in cash inside.
The police, who registered the case, have succeeded in arresting the accused.
