DearMuruli, although you was my classmate the fine imposed by you is a peanut which requires to be reviewed by a higher court. You might have spent more than 2000 rupees in 6 months to come from karkala to junjibettu for your legal education.

Since the insurance company is paying a large money to the victim's family, court did not do that. Moreover the victim's family go for 'out of court settlement' with the accused. Hence the delay and less amount fine and imprisonment.

Sentences are too lenient and compensation is peanut. At least Rs.500,000.00 to be awarded to the family who's bread winner died due to careless attitude of tub master and Rs.300,000.00 to be awarded to injured person. In case of death due to traffic accident in UAE convict cant come out without paying blood money Rs.20 Lac ( Aed.200,000.00 ) ....!!!! Secondly, Why cant BSY Govt implementing Central Govt tough traffic amendment bill in state....?????
