Mangaluru, Mar 23: A person from Kuthar, who was employed at Saudi Arabia, died recently under mysterious circumstances. MLA U T Khader, has extended his helping hand in bringing the man's mortal remains back home. Saudi-based organization, Indian Social Forum, also has been striving to see that the man's body is brought back to his native place.
Ronald D’Souza (50) from Kuthar Pandith House, who was working in Saudi Arabia, passed away. Conditions under which his death occurred have remained a mystery till now. He was found dead in his room on March 19, it is said. Ronald had talked to his family members through video phone that day, but did not receive calls made at night. He had informed that he would be returning home in two days. On March 21, a Mumbai-based private agency informed them that Ronald was no more.
Ronald was working as an electrician for a company named Osol Al Ban at Jizan.
At the request of the family of the deceased, MLA U T Khader contacted G K Saleem Guruvayanakere and Siddique Ullal, who are associated with Indian Social Forum. They checked with various hospitals and expressed the confidence of being able to send the body back to native place once police processes are completed.
Ronald has left behind wife Saritha D'Souza and children Rion (16) and Rovin (14).
