Bengaluru: 29-year-old engineer ends life after pasting ‘caution slip’ to house entrance

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Mar 22: Jeevan Ambate (29), employed with the Amazon company, ended huis life due to depression and frustration with life. The incident came into the open with delay.

Ambate took away his life in a unique way. After watching videos on YouTube and studying about different options available for suicide, he inhaled nitrogen gas through nose and mouth by using oxygen mask. He had covered his entire face in plastic cover and met a gory death.

He ended his life at the rented house in Laxmi Nagara Layout at Mahadevapura on March 13. It came to light on March 17. Ambate was a mechanical engineer from Bidar.

In a death note, the engineer said he had dreamt of many things in life but failed to realise any of them. He said he has become like a machine and he did not like this life. He said therefore he had decided to end his life. He also said no one is responsible for his death.

In the chit pasted to the outside door, he had drawn a diagram of his house with instruction how to enter it. He advised people to open window doors after entering his house and asked them not to switch on any of the switches as fire might get ignited. That is why the locals did not enter the house till the police came.

Suicide is not a solution to any problem. Kindly seek the help of mental health experts if you or someone else you know is under any kind of distress.

Shankara, there's a difference between Noble and Inert gases. What you see on the right most of PT is Noble gases and they are monoatomic, chemically non reactive under normal conditions. N2 on the other hand is diatomic, two atoms in the molecule bound by a triple /covalent bond which renders N2 chemically inert under normal conditions, it's reactive under very high temperatures and pressure and in the presence of catalysts. Hope you are aware that air surrounding us contains 79% N2 and you can safely switch the light switch on in the presence of N2, but breathing pure N2 causes death due to asphyxiation.

Readers, i certainly believe, that there are always good prospects, for qualified engineers, the key is to keep the window open and not give way to hopelessness !!!!?Opportunities will definitely come, sooner then later, this is my personal experience, which i need to share with viewers... If we loose hope then what will the marginalized uneducated brethren hope for ???

What an irony. Educated people r politicising the issue related to a suicide of a young life. Just think about their parents, who have invested their life in their son's upbringing. I give a damn about politics, politicians. I just feel sad for the young man who has left so early. RIP son.

Growing materialism is the prime cause for Suicide. Jesus said first seek kingdom of God than all things will added to you. In this World self realization is important to experience divine peace and prosperity. RIP.

"Not to switch on switches as it might ignite fire" (sic). Even a school kid knows that Nitrogen is an inert gas and extinguishes fire. Coming this from a qualified engineer is unbelievable.

Sir, please have a look on periodic table before writing some thing stupid in public. Nitrogen is not an inert gas. Of course it is used in extinguishing fire. It just pushes oxygen and other gases out when released from pressurized tanks so that fire gets extinguished.

Attention seeking behavior even in suicide !! day dreaming and attention seeking has its consequences. Hard work is the only option for those who achieve something. Disheartening to see people messing up with only life they have.

People have problems of their own. It is not right from our part to make fun of such incidents by connecting it to our political agenda.... If you really have guts, list out issues and problems faced with the present government and publish it on newspapers instead of posting futile funny things like this.
