First of all, the school bus driver shouldnt be taking a turn there suddenly on the national highway where traffic will be moving at speed. The two wheeler rider, trying to enter the right side of the road from the wrong way, that too without a helmet. Because of the sudden turn of the school bus driver, the ksrtc bus driver at that speed, tried to avoid hitting the school bus, which at that time in the morning will be occupied with children. If the ksrtc bus had hit the school bus, it would have been a major tragedy with many fatalities. Unfortunstely, in trying to avoid hitting the school bus, the ksrtc bus swerved towards the road median and another defaulting two wheeler driver had to pay the penalty

The root cause of this accident is unscientific provision of gaps in highway lanes by NHAI. Because of the gap, the Yellow school bus driver was tempted to take an illegal U-turn and a helmetless biker took the wrong direction to pass through the gap in the median. Highways were designed for vehicles to speed safely. But by 1) allowing wrong side driving, 2)allowing pedestrians, cyclists, very slow vehicles on highways, 3) providing gaps in the median and 4) speedbreakers in highways have all contributed to worse accidents than before. Circles or roundabouts are the only places to take any turn , enabling highway traffic to proceed unhindered

All 3 drivers committing mistake at the same time. School bus driver taking Uturn without proper warning, KSRTC driver rushing to overtake him and scooter rider trying sneak between the two. God save the people of this country.

The root cause of this accident is the fault of Highway Authority. By providing an unscientific gap between the opposite highway lanes, they tempted the school bus driver to take an illegal U-turn and a helmetless biker to drive on the wrong side and thus enter the correct side via the small gap. U-turns or right/left turns should only be allowed at circles which should be provided at prescribed intervals, These gaps in the median should be abolished

The video clearly shows that it was the school bus driver who has committed a major blunder. Because of him the KSRTC bus driver, who was driving at high speed could not control and hit the scooter. KSRTC bus driver should be appreciated that he did not collide with the school bus.

As long as Indian drivers would not taught Lane Discipline these thing will continue or can't avoid. Once getting license everyone thinks they are right! Once I was taking left turn to my residence within a second like ne bike fellow passed by my left as per my knowledge he is not supposed to overtake from left side of a vehicle but it was a near miss.

The main culprit is the school bus driver. Without any indication, he is suddenly taking right that also from the left side. I have noticed these school, college bus drivers r very careless, rash drivers. Our traffic police do not treat them seriously as they r school bus drivers. Also vehicles coming from wrong side should be fined.

People dont take the rule of one way seriously here. To save 5 rs of petrol, people will go on the wrong way. Fault of present govt to have raised the price of petrol to rs. 90 when it can be given for rs.45

This accident between a city bus, private school bus and a scooter is very complicated. All the three are at fault in some way or the other. The video clearly shows what actually went wrong. Now we can just wish a speedy recovery of the scooter driver.

KSRTC was on the right path. Two wheeler rider could have slowed down and should have followed stop and proceed while joining the other road, but as he too was on the wrong side he rushed away and the result follows... and overall the blame it on the two wheeler rider only+ helmet-less.

Very unfortunate. He wanted to save his bus from sudden diversion taken by the private bus. But damaged could not be averted. Strange thins is that the person who is in the phone not even dismayed or shocked to cut his phone call. How tragic and unmoving human beings we are becoming.

Look at the video, 3 ppl at fault. 1.The school van trying to take U-Turn without indicator from the left lane. 2.Scooter rider coming from wrong side to cross the road, he should have gone to next juction forward and taken u turn. Because he was in wrong side(parallel to the bus, the bus driver did not notice him. 3. Overspeeding bus, could not stop on time.

Short cut was the main cause not jobless pilots the message itself says two wheelers are always in a hurry no traffic rules for them. They drive on the wrong side, without helmets, triple ride there is no strict rule for them only fines. The two wheelers rider should be jailed, license canceled such should be the harsh punishment. The police are not even bother about two wheelers licenses 70 percent drive without license.
