I guess this incident can happen anytime and it was a mishap .Instead of this the festival should have got highlighted. We always look at the negative instead of the positive side..Highlight the festival people

Roopa mangalore no it shouldnt happen ,when in the first stage itself when a minister was climbing up,the stage collapses, then ask why was it not before tested ?suppose it had caused a life threat what then ?We should not take things so light .festival high lights will have a bad taste if someone injures.what when tourists attend this and then happen such things ,they will laugh at us about our efficiency or inefficiency .Most important is before highlights of festival, very important who gave permission for such a gathering in Corona time.?One side they say no gathering, bla bla .corona is on the rise.other side gathering for a festival...?Someone has lost thinking pwoer.

One side govt and health officials shout there's rise in corona infection. Other side, govt officials only give permission or organise the gatherings. What an injustice and carelessness!! Even Nandini river is not agreeing with this. Learn lesson from ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ..our mother nature....

This river festival involves only BJP members to show off their prsense for next election so i request organizers to rename this program as BJPs convention program at Nandini River.

Good initiative to literate the mongers who did not know the importance of the rivers. The stage was put over a loose sand and hence this happened. Before the meeting started, music party was going on and nothing happened. When the minister came, the stage was occupied with more than 15 members.

This is what happens when you raze down cattle shelters and then when the cows are struggling on the streets, you are enjoying with posters and flexes all over the highway and dancing at River festivals. Karma comes back, always.
