At present, fish chips and other value-added fish products are being manufactured at the factory at Hebbal Bengaluru. After December, they will also be made in the new factory coming up at Byndoor, he said. He said that applications have been invited for selecting district level stockists of the products for being distributing locally. These district level stockists will release the products through distributors under them.

Fish chips: Fish chips made of fish have high protein content. These chips are made by removing fat and retaining natural nutrients. They will be rich in omega 3 fats, vitamin D and B 2, he said. He revealed that this is not junk food like normal chips, and they do not emanate bad odour. These chips will be available in four varieties, Palak, carrot, tomato and masala. They will be available in all the outlets of KFDC and Matsyadarshini at the rate of Rs 40 and Rs 20 per packet.

KFDC chairman Nitin Kumar, said that an agreement to sell fish chips and other items in railways will be entered into soon. He said that fish ships have been well received by the people.

Yes. The Potato Fries actually originated in Belgium where they are the national street food and still the best in the world. In UK they are too big,fat and tasteless. In the US they call them French fries though they have nothing to do with France.

Please do not confuse this with the Fish and Chips you eat outside nor get fooled by the representational image. The Fish chips on offer are similar to Banana chips if I'm not mistaken.
