Kundapur, Mar 19: Anusha, a student of Albady-Ardi Charmakki Narayana Shetty memorial government high school, has been chosen to participate in the Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi's ambitious programme of interaction with the students, titled 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'.
A total of 10.39 lac students from all over the country had applied with intention to take part in the said programme. Out of them, 1,500 have been selected for participation in the programme. Among them, 30 will get to speak to the PM. Anusha from Ardi has been selected for this interaction.
The Albady-Ardi school is one among 30 schools to have been selected from all over the country. From Karnataka, two schools, one from Bengaluru, and the other from Ardi, have alone been selected for the purpose.
The PM will be watching the promotional video, 'Pariksha Pe Charcha’ made by the Charmakki school teachers and students together. During the interaction, this video too will be transmitted. For this, a team from Delhi will be visiting the school to make a short film. The date of the interaction is yet to be fixed.
Anusha is a tenth standard student of Albady-Ardi school. She is the daughter of Krishna Kulal-Jayalaxmi couple from Guddeangady. She wants to pursue engineering education. Anusha said that her selection as one among the 30 students from the entire country to interact with the PM happens to be the happiest moment in her life. She said she is lucky to have been a student of this school and that it is difficult for her to believe that she has been this fortunate. She thanked national award winning teacher Suresh Marakala and other teachers for working hard and encouraging her.
