If a person is financially broken down and in debt, no counselor can help! Ground level economic situation is devastating though published figures may show otherwise!!

I have read in a book, "Do not call a man wretched, whatever ills he may possess, but has a child to love". This man has a one year old daughter and looking and caring her, I think he could have a desire to live. I find now a days, more and more people are committing suicide. Reason can be economic or marriage related. Now people are educated and they can take assistance from helpline. I read sometime back that in Canada, one woman was thinking of committing suicide, but as a last resort, she called helpline. The person at the other end kept her talking on some interesting topic, that she continued talking for a long time. By then, the volunteers from helpline came to her house and saved her from committing suicide. Hope, in India too, such facilities may be available one day. Vishak Poojary, RIP. For whatever reason you have committed suicide, you may not have been in a proper mind and hence, merciful God will forgive you.
