This hifi racket could not have been running without the knowledge of the owners; also the people involved might be big shots as the rates would be very high which no ordinary person can pay during this time of economic crisis!

Philip, do you have one example that a prostitute had a woman as a customer ? Why blame her when she has sufficient customers paying her handsomely ? An axe, a sickle or a gun don't use itself to hurt/kill, they are made use of. Why don't you make sure that men marry legally and build conjugal relationship with their wife so that the brothels run dry ?

These Prostitutes are like Pythons...when Pythons get rescued, if they are found in your compound and you call the snake handler, they will come and rescue the python, to put it hopefully in forest, (but because of high diesel rate to travel to far off forests, they drop them now in somebody else's compound), same with prostitutes....but prostitutes prefer not to go to the forest..

Joblessness and severe economic recession will for many into this trade! Rich babus, businessmen, black money holders are the clientele of this hi profile racket! Hotels are hardly having any business so they are resorting to such ideas for sustenance! It is surprising that this racket was operating in a murder accused's lodging!

A woman these days joins the world's oldest profession only because of the lure of EASY money in the prime of their youth....not because it is a case of survival for them. This idea of rescuing these women seems absurd....they are already well versed in mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, so why should they be rescued? It is not like they are drowning or anything are they?

Always they say that the women are rescued. It was okay then, but, today these women are in the trade by their own accord to earn more and easy money. These so called rescued women who are sent to rehabilitation centres run away since they are accustomed eating biryani and are not contented with thin daal and rice provided by centre. In Mumbai, there are instances where these women were used by the police and officials to satisfy their carnal desires. Further, the reliance on the raid, rescue, and rehabilitation scheme has proven to be both harmful to sex workers and detrimental for public health projects such as HIV, because after running from rescue homes they are going to a new haven that affords a new place of refuge and comfort.
