Kuwait, Mar 17: Kuwait Kannada Koota Welfare Association and Kuwait Kannada Koota on March 19 at 1.30 pm IST will inaugurate a Smart Class under its school adoption programme at Government Model Higher Primary School, Hirehalli, Challakare Taluk, Karnataka in association with the department of public instruction, Government of Karnataka.
The Kannada Koota has adopted the 140-year-old model school. The smart classroom will be inaugurated by the president of the Koota, Revana Siddappa Hombali in the presence of education department officials and the school management.

Kuwait Kannada Koota is one of the oldest among the associations of non-resident Indians staying in Kuwait. The 35-year-old organization has more than 200 families as members.
