Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 15: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 65 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 34,813. Out of these, 302 cases are currently active.

A total of 5,96,258 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,61,445 are negative.

As many as 22 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,770.

A total of 741 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 36,549 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 37,61,410 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,854, including 26 fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 86 cases are currently active.

Over 3,85,722 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,61,868 have turned out negative.

As many as nine patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 23,578.

A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
