Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 13: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 43 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 34,708. Out of these, 250 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,93,441 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,58,733 are negative.
As many as 25 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 741 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 36,217 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 37,28,210 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,818, including 13 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 78 cases are currently active.
Over 3,83,145 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,59,327 have turned out negative.
As many as 33 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
