Udupi: Attack on civic worker - BJP Minority Morcha president tenders apology

Udupi, Mar 13: Dawood Abubakkar, president Udupi district BJP Minority Morcha and owner of the electronic shop, whose staff had assaulted a civil worker apologized for the incident in a Facebook post.

It may be recalled, the staff of Asma Electronics owned by Dawood had assaulted a civic worker who asked them to segregate the waste and not to mix up dry and wet waste. The staff had assaulted the civic worker in public. A case was filed in this regard at Udupi town police station.

In the Facebook post Dawood stated, "The issue has come to my notice. I apologise for the action of my staff. I condemn this. I respect the law of the land and believe that every citizen should follow it. Let the police department make a fare and transparent enquiry and action should be taken against the culprits," he stated.
