Mangaluru, Mar 11: A protest against destruction of Kapila Goshala at Kenjar and demand for reconstruction of Goshalas for cows was held under the aegis of Vande Mataram Gau Samrakshana Samiti on Thursday March 11 in front of the Mini Vidhana Soudha.

Addressing the protesters, Anand Adyar said, "A Goshala needs to be reconstructed that can give shelter for 300 cows. Someone has instigated the administration to destroy the Goshala at Kenjar. A situation has been created wherein we are protesting against our own government.

"We respect Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. However, he has accused Prakash Shetty as a butcher and seller of cows. This is not right. Prabhakar Bhat should seek immediate apology. Prakash Shetty is the one who donated Brahmakalasha to Kateel temple. If you (Prabhakar Bhat) got guts, come not to Dharmasthala but to Kateel to swear in front of God,” he said.

Would like to know the details such as who was running the goshala? Is the land allotted to build the goshala? If the land was not allotted officialy and illegally occupied by someone (who??), then nothing wrong with the demolition. If the intention is build a goshala, then approach the local administration for land allotment and also take the benefit available to run the goshala. Present case looks like "akrama sakrama" of the govt land.

Dear valued voters we have all seen the mighty power of our leaders who were elected by us. They don't walk the talk neither did they fullfill the promises made in their speeches which has only mesmerized the ordinary citizens . Now for the next election please do not await 15Lacs in your account or believe any casteism. We all belong to one country irrespective of caste and we exercise our freedom. The poor people are sidelined and the prices of essential commodities are shooting up. Let us all unite together and lead our country as world's best.

It is high time for the people not to trust people like Prabhakar Bhat. They are fake leaders. People need to use brain and elect right people. If you elect stupid people then there won't be peace.

With a ban against cow slaughter in Karnataka, all jobless youth can pick a couple of cows/bulls randomly and put up a shed on any vacant govt land to call it a Gau Shaala. Thereafter, there will be protests about eviction saying that the shelter created employment to the jobless, therefore, eviction is equal to depriving them of their livelihood. Jai Modi Sarkaar ki !

If the really think they are a bit concern against their own govt, they would have staged protest over jobs, fuel price, gas and hike in other basic commodities which had hit the budget of common man...

Not yet, wait for few more years, to see the complete prathifala of playing religious politics. Once rest of the religions are suppressed, it will come to caste oppression. Wait.... abhi toh khel shuru hua.
