Mangaluru, Mar 10: When asked about BJP’s stand on Kapila Goshala demolition, BJP district president Sudharshan Moodbidri said, "We are committed to protecting cows as even in the budget it was mentioned about constructing goshala in every district."
"To construct goshala there are several criteria to be followed and Kapila Goshala was on government land so it was demolished. If it is not possible for them to take care of cows then we are ready. The owner of Kapila Goshala claimed that goshala was on private land. Only four cents of land was supposed to be under private ownership, the rest of the land belongs to the coast guard. Former mayor and MLA also funded the goshala thinking that goshala is on private land. The district administration has given notice to vacate since it was on government land, but the owner did not abide by the notice. Even during demolition, the owner claimed to shift it to another place. He is changing his statements every now and then," he added.

We have seen derogatory comments against our MP, MLA over the demolition of goshala on social media. In the name of the goshala divide being created against our organization. The conversation with Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat was widely circulated on social media, which shows the conspiracy behind it, argued Sudharshan Moodbidri.
Chief minister B S Yediyurappa presented a people-friendly budget and gave equal prominence to every sector, stated Sudharshan Moodbidri.
MUDA chairman, Ravishankar Mijar and zilla panchayat vice president, Kasturi Panja were present.
