Mangaluru: Load of waste poured into sea - Municipality to seize truck

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Mar 10: On Tuesday March 9, a truckload of waste was disposed of into the sea within the limits of Ullal municipality. Ullal municipal commissioner has issued strict instructions to seize the truck in question.

People who arrived by a truck bearing registration No. KA19 B 7955, dumped the garbage into the sea. The locals who witnessed this senseless act, captured the same on video. It is said that waste from a company had earlier been brought in this truck and poured into the seawater.

Non-government organizations have been carrying out campaigns against polluting rivers and seas by disposing of garbage there. Throwing such a large quantity of waste into the sea has given rise to anger among the people. People in general insist that those behind this act should be punished at any cost.

There are lot of waste dumped by trucks on the road thinking as a dumping ground big fines should be implemented on such culprits. Once strict action taken all these dumping will stop. Start a watts app group to high light such wastes dumped and shame them then we can see beaches and roads in a healthy manner
