Mar 9: Dakshina Kannada reports 11 fresh corona cases; Udupi records 12

Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 9: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 11 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 34,594. Out of these, 212 cases are currently active.

A total of 5,84,919 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,50,325 are negative.

As many as 18 people were discharged on Tuesday and a total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 35,955 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 37,02,010 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,747, including 12 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these,103 cases are currently active.

Over 3,78,208 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,54,461 have turned out negative.

As many as 22 patients were discharged on Tuesday and a total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
