Bengaluru, Mar 9: Several people from Congress are knocking on the door of BJP, said BJP state president Nalin Kumara Kateel on Tuesday March 9.
Speaking to media persons at BJP office in Bengaluru, Nalin said, "We are yet to decide whether to open the door or not. Congress is getting empty. Congress party workers are fed up of the internal conflict between Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar. Hence, the party workers are thinking to join the party headed by B S Yediyurappa.”
He also said that the BJP will make Congress remain permanently in the opposition.
"Yesterday, Yediyurappa told that Siddaramaiah will be made to sit in opposition forever. Hence, as said by Yediyurappa, our team will work and keep Congress away from power.
"There is a wind of change in politics. There is no power of 'boulder' or 'tiger' in Basavakalyana. Brother of Ashok Kheny, Sanjay Kheny joined BJP. People are in queue to join the BJP. We will triumph in Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency. Congress is frightened due to this change. We will empty Congress party before the announcement of the election in Maski. Congress will be made opposition permanently,” he said.
