Mangaluru, Mar 5: Daijiworld readers have always displayed their benevolence by helping the needy wholeheartedly. Whenever we highlighted the difficulties faced by people who needed financial help to overcome their troubles, our readers with their contributions have saved lives.

Similarly in the case of Ayshathul Rafiza, a resident of Bondel, Krishna Nagar, who is suffering from blood cancer, Daijiworld readers have responded quickly pooling in Rs 4.5 lac which was essential for her treatment.

Rafiza was admitted to KMC Hospital on January 27. She was admitted for having difficulty in breathing whilst lying down, along with coughing and vomiting for a week. There was no history of fever or swelling on any part of her body. On examination, she was well except for exhibiting cough and the fact that she could not lie down. Further investigation such as blood tests and CT test and an echocardiogram showed the mediastinal mass suggestive of lymphoma. The biopsy under CT test performed by the interventional radiologist confirmed the diagnosis of B cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. Then the doctors suggested specialized treatment which costs near Rs 10 lac. After spending all their earnings for the treatment, Rafiza’s parents approached Daijiworld for financial help.

“We were going through a very tough time. But after receiving financial help from Daijiworld readers, we started the specialized treatment for our daughter. Two days ago, she was discharged from the hospital, but the doctor suggested frequent blood tests, injections and intrathecal injections which will be administered over a period of 2 years and 8 months. We are thankful to the readers and the entire Daijiworld family for their kindness which they showed towards us. We will always remain grateful to them and keep them in our prayers. It is due to all of them, we can save our daughter,” said Mohammad Haneef, father of Rafiza.

Daijiworld thanks its esteemed readers for responding positively for the cause. Their generosity has brought back smiles and filled the needy with hope. Thank you all.
