Bengaluru, Mar 4: A thief who used to convince beautiful bar girls to spend time with him, and who was an expert in trapping the girls and was ready to do anything for them, had remained elusive even though the city (south) police were making efforts to nab him. At nights, he used to steal from different places. After the arrest, the police were amazed to hear his thrilling lifestyle.

The arrested youth is Ismail. He was wanted by the police in over ten cases. He had committed not less than 12 thefts within Bengaluru (south) limits without being caught. The police who had prior information about his visit to a spot in Jayanagar, caught hold of him. A team led by Jayanagar police inspector Sudarshan, arrested Ismail after firing at his legs.

Ismail craved for bar girls and had the talent to attract them towards him. He used to visit bars and pubs with friends, and spend money on the girls. He also took with him good looking girls. When he needed money to present gifts to the girls, he used to steal without thinking twice about it.

Ismail said that when a girl asked for footwear, he stole from a shoe store. When a girl asked for ice cream, he barged into an ice cream parlour and got what she wanted. When the demand was for chocolates, he used to burgle chocolate shops and take away chocolates costing thousands of rupees. He stole even everything he wore including trousers, shirts, watches, jewellery and the goggles. He looked rich and lived luxuriously.

Now is the time for him to cool his heels inside the jail and he has rest from otherwise busy night shift activities.
