Mangaluru, Mar 3: A pregnant lady who had gone out to hand over donation money to an orphanage-cum-school at Ullal, reportedly went missing under mysterious circumstances. The incident took place at Kallapu under Ullal police station limits on Tuesday, March 2.

The missing person is identified as Hinaz (25), wife of Ibrahim, a resident of Ombattukere, Someshwar. She was staying with her husband abroad and had returned to her hometown a few weeks ago. It is gathered that Hinaz left home at about 12 pm on March 2 to the orphanage-cum-school situated at Kallapu inner road to hand over cash to fulfil a vow. She had travelled by bus from Ombattukere and got down at Kallapu. She had then hired an auto-rickshaw from there after which she went missing.

Hinaz has a year-old-child and is pregnant. Her family is worried that she went missing without going to the orphanage-cum-school. Hinaz had Rs 7,000 cash with her and was wearing gold ornaments.

A missing person case is registered at Ullal police station on the basis of a complaint from Ibrahim.
