Mangaluru, Mar 1: Former home minister and JD(S) leader, P G R Sindhia, said that he continues to be an active member of the JD(S) and is ready to discharge any responsibility as per the wishes of the party.
Sindhia, who is the state chief commissioner for Bharat Scouts and Guides, visited Bappanadu Goddess Durgaparameshwari temple at Mulky on Sunday February 28. He answered questions raised by the media persons there.
Sindhia released the annual car festival invitation on the occasion and wished the festival all the best. Hereditary trustee of the temple, Dugganna Savanth, and managing trustee, S N Manohar Shetty, honoured the former minister.
Several leaders including former Kannada Sahitya Parishad president, Harikrishna Punaroor, Moodbidri block JD(S) president. Jeevan K Shetty and others were present.
