Mangaluru, Feb 23: The new office and mini hall of Dakshina Kannada Catering Owners Association was inaugurated here at Onyx building, Pumpwell on Tuesday, February 23.
Addressing the gathering Mangaluru South MLA, Vedavyas Kamath said, "It has been two years since the association has been in existence. It has come a long way and in just two years the association have inaugurated a new office and a mini hall. There is a lot of responsibility on the president and the office-bearers and the future president to take forward this association taking people in confidence. There are chances of differences arising between two catering services due to pricing, the association now has a platform to address such issues."
Former MLA J R Lobo said, "People of Dakshina Kannada have achieved name and fame in the banking sector and restaurant business globally. Today most family events are incomplete without catering service, they play an important role in the success of any program. If the catering service is good then the entire program goes well, if not people grow disappointed. The success and failure of any program are based on the quality of the catering service. Earlier family members joined together and used to cook food for the guest, in the present era catering services have entered the field."
Managing director, Adka's Abdul Karim Adka was felicitated at the event.
Rajgopal Rai welcomed the gathering, Naresh Kumar and Dinesh compered the event.
