Border area schools
As students living within one two kilometres from the border area in Kerala attend Karnataka schools, there was not much of a problem. However, vigil was kept at the border and the students were checked before allowing them to attend schools. There was no confusion as these students were attending Vidyagama so far. The education department officials said that they are ready to hold regular classes for sixth and seventh standards if the district administration issues instructions.
