Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 22: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 10 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 34,324. Out of these, 210 cases are currently active.

A total of 5,57,048 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,22,724 are negative.

As many as 20 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,374.

A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 33,490 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 34,60,740 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,538, including 12 fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 53 cases are currently active.

Over 3,59,039 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,35,501 have turned out negative.

As many as 12 patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 23,296.

A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
