Mangalore, Jun 21: A KSRTC bus traveling from Mysore to the city met with an accident in Thumbay at 3.30 am on Sunday June 20.
Two people were seriously injured and the bus was damaged after it hit the back of a huge oil tanker truck which was headed towards MRPL.
Police at the spot said that the bus driver had been driving the whole night, and he never noticed the huge oil tanker.
They said that the matter would have to be further investigated before the exact reason of the accident can be pinpointed.
The injured were immediately admitted to Tejasvini Hospital and are undergoing treatment. The drivers of both the vehicles sustained no injuries in the accident.
