Mangaluru, Jan 23: Post lockdown, there has been a considerable increase in the number of cybercrimes not only within the city commissionerate limits, but also in Udupi district. On an average, four to five such cases are being registered on a daily basis in police stations.
Usually those who commit these crimes are indulging in them by sitting in some indiscreet corners either in North India or some foreign destinations. Even though the police have been making honest attempt to reach to the bottom of the crime, they have not been able to achieve the breakthrough.
