Bengaluru, Jan 16: The allegations of 'adjustment politics’, indulged in by the Congress leaders as alleged by BJP's Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and H Vishwanath, have now reached the national leadership of the Congress.
In support of the claims that leader of the opposition Siddaramaiah, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar, have entered into secret understanding (adjustment) with B S Yediyurappa, some audio and video clips were sent to the high command by some senior leaders.

These two leaders have been accused of not attending to the work of finding fault in every step of the BJP government which was formed through 'Operation Lotus'. Both of these leaders have been charged with lack of coordination between them. They also have been accused of not raising their voices because of having good rapport with Yediyurappa's son Vijayendra. Sources said that complaints have gone to the high command on these issues.
The party workers have been talking about the failure of the leaders to take the issues like failures of the government, high court judgement against Yediyurappa on de-notification issue etc to a logical end. There are complaints that Bengaluru MLAs supported the BJP on the issue of holding BBMP elections and therefore, its election was postponed. A leader said it is clear that the Congress was not interested to go for the BBMP poll now.
D K Shivakumar denied any adjustment politics between Congress and BJP leaders. However, after MLA M P Renukacharya, met state BJP in-charge Arun Singh, at Delhi and urged him to instruct the chief minister to drop newly inducted minister C P Yogeshwar, sworn enemy of D K Shivakumar and Kumaraswamy, from the cabinet, it is said, Shivakumar provided documents against Yogeshwar to Renukacharya.
