Mangaluru, Jan 14: In one more incident of ATM fraud, strangers have withdrawn money without the knowledge of the account holder.
Fraudsters withdrew money in different transactions on January 11 between 9.26 to 9.29 pm through an ATM from the account of a customer of the Gandhinagar branch of a bank. The total amount that is withdrawn is Rs 40,000. The account holder has registered a complaint with Cybercrime police of the city in this regard.

Similar complaints are registered with police about withdrawing cash from the branches of Gandhinagar and Urwa Store. In these incidents, strangers had withdrawn Rs 60,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively. The next day an amount of Rs 40,000 was withdrawn through the postal ATM of Kulshekar from the account of one more person.
